Puff Stitch – YO insert hook into designated stitch, pull up a loop and pull it up, YO go into the same stitch and pull up a loop and pull it up. YO, insert hook into same stitch, pull up a loop and pull it up. You should have 6 loops on your hook plus one from the previous stitch. YO and path the yarn through all 7 stitches.
Make extra chain stitch to secure the puff stitch firmly.

Slip Stitch (sl st)
Slip stitch is the shortest crochet stitch used for joining, shaping & taking yarn to another part of motif or work (buttonhole for example)
Single crochet Spike stitch (scs)
