Note: The back and front panels will be crocheted with the 3mm and 5mm hooks. The 3mm is for the bottom ribbed trims and the 5mm hook is for the torsos. If you are not comfortable with swapping them every rows, you could crochet “YOST in next 14 sts” in all rows with the 5mm hook but this will make the front and back panels not have the ribbed trims.

All of the YOST throughout the pattern are Back loop only.

Tips: You can use a marker to mark the 15 sts at the bottom so that you don’t need to count them every row.

Place the beginning of the neckband at top of the front right shoulder seam and sew a long edge of the neckband along the neckline with mattress stitch, stretching slightly to fit.

Note: Do not pull the yarn thread tightly when you sew because it will prevent your head from getting through the sweater. Stretch the neck area horizontally to make sure that it stretches well.

Sew neckband seams together with mattress stitch. Wave in end. Sew tops of the sleeves into the armholes with mattress stitch. Sew side and sleeve seams together with mattress stitch.

Your Sweater is finished!

We hope that you have had an enjoyable time.
