Cardigan is worked in 5 separate pieces (back, 2 identical front panels and 2 sleeves) then seamed together using mattress stitch. The ribbed edges are built in to the design and are created by simply working back loop only single crochet stitches at the row ends.
Sizes are based on average bust size. When choosing which size to make, compare your bust size with finished measurements then decide how much ease you are most comfortable with. This is an oversized cardigan which is designed to have at least 6 inches positive ease. Model is 5’ 3” tall with a 34” bust.
