Material

  • Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn in Ecru (500)yds
  • Crochet 4 mm mm hook tapestry needle optional measuring tape

Abbreviations

  • Ch = chain
  • Sl st = slip stitch
  • Sc = single crochet
  • BLO = back loops
  • Inc = increase
  • Dec = decrease
  • F/o = fasten off

12 st ~ 6 rows ~ 3in
Sizing/directions denoted by (XS, S, M, L,XL, XXL)

Bottom Straps + Middle

Round 1: Ch 326. Turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (325)

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as sc), turn sc-dec in BLO, sc in BLO across until you have a total of 160st, ch 5, sc in the 6th st from hook, then sc in BLO of each st across, ending with a sc-dec in BLO (323)

Round 3: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc-dec in BLO, sc in BLO across until you arrive at last round’s chain 5, ch 5 and sc in the next sc-st from hook. Sc in BLO of each st across, ending with a sc-dec in BLO. (321)

Rounds 4-17: Repeat round 2. (293).

F/o, weave in ends. Take a very long strand of yarn and use your tapestry needle to weave it in and out of each side of the chain-

5s, to create a woven-like texture. Weave in ends when done.

Top Straps (make 2)

Round 1: Sl st into the corner of one side of the last round of the bottom straps + middle. Ch 1 (does not count as a st), sc in BLO across, stopping at the ch-5. (13)

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc in BLO of each st across. (13)

Rounds 3-70: repeat round 2. F/o, leave very long tail for sewing. Sew the last round of the top strap to the 52nd round of the top strap.

Weave in all ends when finished.
