If making size XS, f/o and leave a long tail for sewing.

Rounds (45, 45-46, 45-47, 45-48, 45-49): Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc in the next st from hook and in each st across. (13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28)

F/o and leave a long tail for sewing. By now, you should have four top panels:

to begin assembly, sew one corner of the first round of panel A to a corner of panel B. Then, sew the remaining corner of panel B’s first round to a corner on the first round of panel C.

Then, sew the remaining corner on panel C’s first round to a corner on the first round of panel D. Lastly, sew the remaining corners of the first rounds of panel A and panel D together.

This should leave you with all of your panels connected by their first rounds in one loop. This should fit comfortably over your head and around your bust, but if you find it too tight, you can separate these panels by a couple of chains.

Next, line up the last rounds of panel A and panel D. Sew across through both rounds to connect the panels. Then, line up the last rounds of panels B and C, and sew across through both to connect these panels. Weave in all ends when finished.

Dress Body

Round 1: Sl st anywhere on the edge with all the panels (one of the stitches of the first rounds of any of the panels). Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc around in each st of the panels, until you arrive back at your original st. Then, sl st into the top of your very first dc-st to close the round. (92, 104, 116,128, 140, 152)

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc in each st around, until you arrive back at your original st.
Then, sl st into the top of your very first dc-st to close the round. (92, 104, 116, 128, 140, 152)

Rounds 3-40: Repeat round 2.

NOTE: this should reach about the mid-way point of your thigh when wearing the dress. If you need more or less rounds to reach this point, take away or add repetitions of round 2 until you reach this point.

Round 41: Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc in each st around, until you arrive back at your original st. Do not sl st into your first st, instead end the around here. (92, 104, 116, 128, 140, 152)

Round 42: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, dc in the next st from hook and in each st around. (92,104, 116, 128, 140, 152)

Rounds 43-72: Repeat round 42.

NOTE: for a longer dress, continue to repeat round 42 until you reach your desired length.

When finished, f/o and weave in all ends.

Enjoy your finished piece!
