Large Panel (make 2)

Green-Blue = Yarn A
Teal-Blue = Yarn B
Dark Blue = Yarn C

Each round follows the color-chaing pattern:
yarn A, yarn B, yarn C. This is not mentioned in the
rounds but you should make sure you are switching
colors in this order throughout the pattern.

Round 1: Starting with yarn A, ch (46, 50, 54, 58,
62, 66) + 1 ch. Turn, dc in 2nd ch from hook and in
each ch across. F/o (46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66)

Round 2: Sl st into the side of the last st of round 1.
Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc 5 times into the
same space. Turn to face the upcoming st, and dc
in each st across. When you arrive at the end, make
5dc into the side of that st from round 1. Then,
continue to dc in each st across, until you arrive
back at your very first dc-st. Sl st into that st and f/o. you should end with (102, 110, 118, 126, 134, 142)

Round 3: Sl st into the middle st of one of last
round’s dc-5 groups. Dc 5 times into this st. Then,
dc in each st around until you arrive at the next dc-5
group. Make 5 dc into the middle st of this group.
Then, continue to dc in each st across, until you
arrive back at your very first dc-st. Sl st into that,
and f/o. (110, 118, 126, 134, 142)

Rounds 4-6: Repeat round 3. (134, 142, 150, 158,
166, 174).

This completes the Large Panel. When you have
both created, line up one of the dc-5 groups of each
large panel, and sew together by the dc-5 groups.
Do the same thing with the two remaining dc-5
groups.

Medium Panel (make 2)

Round 1: Starting with yarn A, ch (36, 40, 44, 48,
52, 56) + 1 ch. Turn, dc in 2nd ch from hook and in

arrive back at your very first dc-st. Sl st into that,
and f/o. (82, 90, 98, 106, 114, 122)

Rounds 4-6: Repeat round 3. (106, 114, 122, 130,
138, 146)

This completes the Medium Panel. When you have
both created, line up one of the dc-5 groups of each
large panel, and sew together by the dc-5 groups.
Do the same thing with the two remaining dc-5
groups.

Small Panel (make 2)

118, 126)

This completes the Medium Panel. When you have
both created, line up one of the dc-5 groups of each
large panel, and sew together by the dc-5 groups.
Do the same thing with the two remaining dc-5
groups.

stack your panels, now all connected, vertically so
they are in the order: Large, Small, Medium.
We will now work on the sections between each
panel, which are worked directly onto one panel and
then sewn to the panel it’s connecting to.

Large to Small Panel

Round 1: Still keeping up with the order of your
color-changing, sl st into any st on the last round of
the large panel. ch 1 (does not count as st), **sc in
the next 11 st, then make a sc-dec. Repeat from **
around, stopping when you arrive back at your
original st. F/o. (115, 122, 130, 137, 144, 161)

Rounds 2-4: sl st into any st on the last round of the
large panel. ch 1 (does not count as st) **sc in the
next 11 st, then make a sc-dec. Repeat from **
around, stopping when you arrive back at your
original st. F/o. (NOTE: you may not end on a
decrease, but this is expected!) (92, 97, 103, 109,
114, 128)

Line up this previous round with the last round of
the small panel. Sl st through both rounds to join
the two together (try to space out evenly). NOTE:
since there are more st in the large panel than in
the small panel, you will have to double up
occasionally (2 sl st into the same st). This is okay,
just try to spread them out evenly as you go. When
you arrive back at your first st, f/o and weave in
ends.

Inner Triangle (make 2)

Round 1: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
the connection point (where you sewed the dc-5
groups together). Dc once into the connection
point. Then, count 2 st away and sl st to connect
your dc, then f/o. (1)

Round 2: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into last round’s
dc-st. Then, dc into the st where you ended last
round (the sl st to close the round). Count 2 st away and sl st to connect your dc, then f/o, (3)

Round 3: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into each of the 3
dc-st from last round. Then, dc into the st where you
ended last round (the sl st to close the round).
Count 2 st away and sl st to connect your dc, then
f/o. (5)

Round 4: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into each of the 5
dc-st from last round. Then, dc into the st where you
ended last round (the sl st to close the round).
Count 2 st away and sl st to connect your dc, then
f/o. (7)

Round 5: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into each of the 7
dc-st from last round. Then, dc into the st where you ended last round (the sl st to close
the round). Count 2 st away and sl st to connect
your dc, then f/o. (9)

Round 6: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into each of the 9
dc-st from last round. Then, dc into the st where
you ended last round (the sl st to close the round).
Count 2 st away and sl st to connect your dc, then
f/o. (11)

Round 7: On the small panel, sl st 2 st away from
your last round. Dc into the st where your last
round’s starting sl st is. Then, dc into each of the
11 dc-st from last round. Then, dc into the st
where you ended last round (the sl st to close the
round). Count 2 st away and sl st to connect your
dc, then f/o. (13)

Repeat this process on the other side of the small
panel. Then continue on the pattern.

Small to Medium Panel

Round 1: Still keeping up with the order of your
color-changing, sl st into any st on the last round
of the small panel. Ch 1 (does not count as st).
**sc in the next 6 st, then make a sc-inc in the
next st. Repeat from ** around, stopping when
you arrive back at your original st. F/o. (70, 80,
89, 98, 107, 116)

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), sc in each
st around. F/o. (70, 80, 89, 98, 107, 116)
Rounds 3-8: Repeat round 2. (70, 80, 89, 98,
107, 116)

Medium to Small Panel

Round 1: Sl st anywhere on the last round of the
medium panel. ch 1 (does not count as st), **sc
in the next 5 st, then make a sc-dec. Repeat from
** around, stopping when you arrive back at your
original st. F/o. (91, 98, 105, 112, 119, 126)

Line up this previous round with the last round of
the “small to medium panel” section. Sl st through
both rounds to join the two together (try to space
out evenly). NOTE: since there are more st in the
medium panel than in the small panel, you will have
to double up occasionally (2 sl st into the same st).
This is okay, just try to spread them out evenly as
you go. When you arrive back at your first st, f/o
and weave in ends.

Dress Bottom

This portion is worked entirely in Yarn A. You can
choose to keep alternating colors if you wish.

Round 1: Still keeping up with the order of your
color-changing, sl st 6 st away from one of the
connection points on the last round of the large
panel. Dc in the next st, then dc-dec twice. Dc in
the next st, then dc once directly in the connection
point. Dc in the next st. Then, dc-dec twice. Dc in
the next st, then sl st into the next st. F/o.
Repeat Round 1 on the last remaining connection
point before continuing to round 2.

Round 2: Sl st anywhere on the large panel and
ch 1 (does not count as st). **dc in the next 11 st,
then make a dc-dec. Repeat from ** around,
stopping when you arrive back at your original st.
Sl st into your first dc-st to close the round. (115,
122, 130, 137, 144, 161)

Round 3-7: Sl st anywhere on your previous
round and ch 1 (does not count as st). Dc in each
st around. When you arrive back at your original
st, sl st into your first dc-st to close the round.
(115, 122, 130, 137, 144, 161)

NOTE: for a longer dress, continue to repeat your
previous round until you reach the desired length.

Straps (make 4)

Cut a VERY long piece of yarn (~3-4 feet) and fold it
so the ends are touching. Pinpoint the center of the
strand.

Locate the 15th and 16th st from the
connection point on the medium panel. Pull this loop through in between these two st. Now, you
should have a strand of yarn on the left of your
hook, and a strand of yarn on the right of your hook.
Wrap the left strand around your hook, then wrap
the right strand around your hook, and pull through
both loops.

Repeat this until you run out of yarn. You should end with 60-75 st. Then weave in all ends.

Repeat this process three more times, to get all four dress straps created. The dress is worn by tying the straps (that are on opposite ends) in a bow and wearing them over your shoulders. Enjoy your finished dress!
