Crochet Pattern Jordans Baby Booties are available in four different colors. Knitting patterns are written and illustrated step-by-step guides.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

  • Original yarn: SINFONIA Omega (100% mercerized cotton, 100 g ball | 3.52 oz | 200 meters | 218 yards) approx. 120-130 yards.
  • Alternative yarn: Fine (#2)/Sport, Baby 100% cotton – green in the table.
  • Hook: 1.75 mmTools: measurement tape, scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, textile glue

  • Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6
  • Hobbii Baby Cotton Organic Midi

Gauge: 22 sc* 24 rnds = 4’’ (10cm). Always use a crochet hook size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

If the size of the sole when crocheting you get more than you need, then crochet tighter or use a hook 0.25-0.5 mm smaller.

1.   THE SOLE/BOTTOM

Chain 18. Stitches are worked around both sides of the foundation chain.PM to indicate the beginning of the round.

Rnd 1: ch 2, 2 dc in the 18th ch, 16 dc, 5 dc in one st; turn around and work onto the backside of the foundation chain: 16 dc, 2 dc in one st, sl st (42) [fig 1]

Rnd 2: ch 1, 2 inc, 7sc, 2 hdc, 7dc, rep (dc inc) *5, 7 dc, 2 hdc, 7sc, 2 inc, 1 sc, sl st (52) [fig 2]

Rnd 3: ch 2, rep (dc inc)*4, 16 dc, rep (dc inc)*10, 16 dc, rep (dc inc)*4, 1dc, sl st (70) [fig 3]

Rnd 4: ch 1, 1 sc in each st by the end of rnd. Invisible join in the round (70) [fig 4]

Note: to adjust the size of the sole up to 2-3 mm, work hdc instead of sc in Rnd 4

2.   THE SIDES OF SOLE

With the sole WS up, start working on the sides. PM the middle of the heel to indicate the beginning of a round.

Take white yarn.

Rnd 1: : crochet blo: ch 1, 69 sc, sl st under the beg of rnd (70) [fig 5, 6]

Rnd 2: ch 1, 1 sc in the same ch, 68 sc, sl st under the beg of rnd. (70)

Rnds 3-4: rep Rnd 2. Cut the yarn, invisible join in the round [fig 7]

Take black yarn.

Rnd 5: continue from the middle of the heel: ch 1, 69 sc, sl st under the beg of rnd (70) [fig 8], Don`t cut the yarn! PM on the sl st. [fig 9]

3.   TOE (red part)

Work back and forth.

PM1 to indicate 4th st from the middle of the front of shoe to the left,

PM2 to indicate 4th st from the middle of the front of shoe to the right [8 sts].

Take red yarn.

Row 1: Crochet blo: ch 1, 7 sc, 2 sc after M2, turn.

Row 2: 1 sc in the second st from the hook, 7 sc, flo: 2 sc, turn. [fig 10]

Row 3: 1 sc in the second st, 8 sc, blo: 2 sc, turn.

Row 4: 1 sc in the second st, 9 sc, flo : 2 sc, turn.

Row 5: 1 sc in the second st, 10 sc, blo: 2 sc, turn.

Row 6: 1 sc in the second st, 11 sc, flo : 2 sc,turn.

Row 7: 1 sc in the second st, 12 sc, blo: 2 sc, turn.

Row 8: 1 sc in the second st, 13 sc, flo : 2 sc, turn.

Row 9: 1 sc in the third st from the hook, 13 sc, blo: 2 sc, turn. [fig 11]

Row 10: 1 sc in the third st from the hook, 13 sc, flo: 2 sc, turn.

Row 11-12: rep 9th and 10th rounds. Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 12]

4.   TOE (black part)

Continue crochet toe.

Go back to the heel, remove the marker and insert the hook into the loop.

Take black yarn.

Rnd 1: ch1, (sc)*till the beginning toe,

flo: (dc2 tog, 1dc) *10, flo: dc2 tog, (sc)* till end the row, sl st.

Cut the yarn, invisible join in the round [fig14,15]

5.   TONGUE OF SNEAKERS

Work back and forth. Take black yarn.

Turn the booties to face you and begin to crochet on the right side of the toe, in the second loop from the edge.

Row 1: 1 ch, 14 sc, ch 2, turn.

Row 2: 1 dc in the same st, 13 dc, ch 1, turn.

Rows 3 – 8: rep Rnds 1-2.

Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 16]

6. SHOE SIDES.

Work back and forth. Take black yarn.

Turn the booties with the side towards you. Find the place where sc and dc meet, count 2 loops to the right and insert a hook there

Row 1: ch1, 41 sc, ch 2, turn. (41)

Row 2: 1 dc in the second st last row, 37 dc, dec, ch 1, turn (39) [fig 19]

Row 3: 39 sc, ch 2, turn. (39)

Row 4: 1 dc in the second st last row, 35 dc, dec, ch 1, turn. (37)

Row 5: 37 sc, ch 2, turn. (37)

Row 6: 1 dc in the second st last row, 33 dc, dec, ch 1, turn. (35)

Row 7: 35 sc, ch 2, turn. (35)

Row 8: 1 dc in the second st last row, 31 dc, dec. (33) Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 20] Work sc along the top edge [fig 21]

Crochet the second booties using the pattern.

TIP: to make the booties the same, I recommend crocheting both at once – that is, crochet the sole of one and immediately crochet the sole of the second booties.Crocheted the sides of the sole of one and followed by the side of the sole of the other, and so on.

7. LOGO (MAKE 2)

Take red yarn.

Ch 40 + ch 2, turn.

Rnd 1: sl st in the 40th st, 1 sc, 3 sc tog, 30 sc, 3 sc tog, 1 sc, sl st.

Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 22]

8.   RED BACK STRIPE (make 2)

Take red yarn.

Ch 35 + ch 2, turn.

Rnd 1: 1 sc in the 35th st last row, sc*till the end row, turn.

Rnd 2: sc*till the end row.

Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 23]

PM1 to indicate 15th st from edge to the left, PM2 to indicate 15th st from edge to the right [5 sts]

Rnd 1: ch 1, 1 sc in the same st, 4 sc, turn.

Rnd 2: 5 sc, turn.

Rnds 3-11: repeat Rnd 2.

Cut the thread, fasten off [fig 24]

9.   LACE (MAKE 2)

You can take ready-made laces and insert them into crocheted sneakers or crochet yourself.

The length of the laces should be 52-55 cm (20-21”)

Option 1

Make a chain of 105 – 115. Cut the yarn.

Take time to make these look as neat as possible.

Option 2

Work with 2 strands approx. 52-55 cm /20 – 21” as it is shown in the video.

Cut the yarn.

10.   ASSEMBLY

Slip on the laces and the fashion baby sneakers are ready! [fig 25], Attach the logo and the red back red stripes with textile glue. How to do this, see the video. [fig 26, 27]
