Baby Girl Long Sleeve Dress has beautiful ruffles on the robe, perfect for any occasion or daily use. It can be made with cotton yarn for wormer seasons or wool yarn for colder seasons.
The pattern is in six size : Size 0-3 months / 3-6 months / 6-12 months / 1-2 years / 3-4 years / 5-6 years.
Materials used
Yarn: Baby safe yarn in Size 3/DK/Light worsted.
You will need around 330/410/510/630/780/920 yards or 300/380/470/580/720/850 m yarn.
Crochet hook : Size E / 3,5 mm
Gauge: 17 stitches x 12 rows per 4”/10cm square in half double crochet stitches.
If it is bigger size than you prefer you can size down your hook, if it is too small than you can size up your hook.

Join into a round by slip stitch over first half double crochet stitch of the row. From now on we need to join each round by slip stitch over first stitch of the round and turn after each round to have uniform texture on the dress body.

Back finishing & Back button
- Half double crochet around back opening
Join yarn into base of first stitch on back right side, chain 1.
Half double crochet around the back opening downwards and upwards in the same number of stitches.
You can work 1 stitch over sides of of half double crochet rows, 2 stitches over sides of of double crochet (twisted stitch) rows.
- Button loop
Turn to wrong side, chain 1, and carry yarn by slip stitch over 2nd half double crochet stitch from top edging, chain 7, slip stitch into same stitch,
Carry yarn by slip stitch in the wrong side and make a second loop on the ruffles row. Fasten off, secure the yarn tail by weaving in the wrong side.
- Button – Crochet buttons are used on this design, PLEASE SEW SAFE.
Make a magic loop, chain 3, double crochet 10 into the loop, pull the yarn tail tight to close up. Join the round by slip stitch over first double crochet stitch of the round.
- Fasten off, weave yarn end through stitches, pull on yarn tail and close tightly. Sew on opposite to button loops.
Slip stitch over neckline – Optional
- You can slip stitch around the neckline, which can also tighten it up if needed.
Insert hook into first stitch and draw yarn, Insert hook into next stitch, draw next yarn, pull through. Fasten off, weave yarn tail in the wrong side.
