The Antwerp Top is a gorgeous multicolor crochet corset with supportive underwire and adjustable straps. Beginner friendly.

Size Directions
This top factors in bra cup sizes only. The top is adjustable so it can fit most band sizes. If you are in between sizes, or unsure of which cup size to make, start at the “Bra Cups” section of the pattern and keep going up a size until you can try on your bra cup and it covers you appropriately.
Underwire Covers (make 2)
Round 1: Ch 2. Sc 8 into 2nd ch from hook. (8)
Round 2: Sc in each st around. (8)
Rounds 3-(22, 27, 32, 37, 42, 47): Continue to repeat round 2. Note: you should repeat round 2 until you can insert one of your underwires into the tube and it is completely covered. This will be after about (22, 27, 32, 37, 42, 47) rounds, but add or remove rounds accordingly until the entire underwire is covered. When finished, f/o and weave in ends.
Repeat for the other underwire.
Bra Cups (make 2)
Round 1: Ch (3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13) + 1 ch. Turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (3, 5,7, 9, 11, 13)
Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc- inc in next st from hook. Sc in each st across, but end with another sc-inc. (5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15)
Rounds 3-7: Repeat Round 2. (15, 17, 19, 21,23, 25)
Round 8: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc in each st across. (15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25)

Round 34: Sc around the entire cup, making one sc into each sc-st around, and where you are working into the edges of rounds, making one sc into each round’s edge. When you arrive back at your first sc, f/o and leave a very long tail for sewing.
Repeat this process once more to make the other cup.
Inner Cup Triangle (make 1)
We will now make the inner triangle portion of the top, that connects both cups together.

Round 1: Ch 2. Sc into 2nd ch from hook. (1)
Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc 3 times into the next st from hook. (3)
Round 3: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc- inc in next st, sc in next st, sc-inc in next st. (5)
Round 4: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc-inc in next st, sc in next 3 st, sc-inc in next st. (7) **if making an A cup, f/o here and leave long tail for sewing.
Round 5: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc-inc in next st, sc in next 5 st, sc-inc in next st. (9) **if making a B cup, f/o here and leave long tail for sewing.
Round 6: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc-inc in next st, sc in next 7 st, sc-inc in next st. (11) **if making a C cup, f/o here and leave long tail for sewing.
Round 7: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc-inc in next st, sc in next 9 st, sc-inc in next st. (13) **if making a D cup, f/o here and leave long tail for sewing.

Sew your inner triangle to the edges of each of your underwire covers, holding the tip of your triangle on the edge of each underwire and working down, until all of the inner triangle is sewn to each of the covers. Weave in ends.
Sew your bra cups to the edges of each of the underwire covers. Space each cup out evenly so that the center of each cup matches up with the center of each underwire cover. Sew until all of the cups stitches on one end are connected to the underwire. Weave in ends.
Top Body Part 1 (make 1)
Round 1: Ch (30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55) + 1 ch. Turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55)
Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sc in each st across. (30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55)

Sew the last round of part 1 and part 2 of your top body together. Weave in ends.
Sew the long side of Round 25 of each of your top bodies to the outer edge of each of the cups (sections circled on the image to the right).
All this leaves is the inner portion of the top. Sew this portion to the bottom of each of the underwire covers. Be sure to space these out evenly so that where part 1 and part 2 of the top bodies meet, is also in the center of the

underwire covers.
When all of the top body stitches have been sewn to the underwire covers, weave in all ends.
Top Straps (make 2)
Chain (350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600). F/o and weave in ends.
Weave this strap once through the outer-corner of one of the cups, and then through round 6 of either part 1 or part 2 of the top body.
Repeat this process of weaving another strap through the other outer-corner of the opposite cup, and then through round 6 of the other top body.
When wearing, tie these straps in a bow at your shoulder to secure.
Corset Strap (make 1)
Chain (500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000). F/o and weave in ends. Weave this long strap in and out of the stitches of round 1 on both top bodies. As you would lace a shoe lace. When you’ve fully laced up the back, tie with a bow to secure.
