Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern: Step By Step Tutorial

Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern – My Fox measure around 26cm height and I have used 1 ball of main color yarn 95m/100g using 4.5mm hook.

You will need:

  • Yarn in desired colour
  • I have used chenille yarn 1,5 ball – 95m/100g, crochet hook 4.5mm.
  • Half ball of black and some white colours Needle
  • Polyester fibrefill stuffing
  • Plastic safety eyes, I have used 14 mm Nose 20mm
  • My Fox have 27cm high

Observation:

Notes:

Do not join at the end of each round; rounds are worked in continuous spirals or otherwise stated.

Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. Move the marker up each time you start a new round.

Head and body

Starting with main colour

1: chain 5, starting from second sc from the hook, 3sc, 3 sc in the last stich, now work other side of the chain, 3sc, 3 sc in the last stich, place your marker, make sure you have 12 stiches in the round 2: (1sc, inc) x 6 (18)

Fold in half and move marker in the position where the arrow is on the picture below.

33: dec, 7sc, dec x 2, 8sc, dec (18) f/o leaving long tail to sew the hole later on. We created holes in the bottom of the body for legs.

Legs

1: Attached yarn in the hole, start each leg in the same space. make 12sc in the hole, each leg will be done separately (12)

2 – 4: 12sc – fill the leg as required, stop the last row in the middle of the leg, fold them in half to indicate the middle, like on the photograph, put the marker in this place (12) – read tip below 5-6: change the colour, 12sc (12)

7: 2sc, 3x inc, 7sc (15)

8: 3sc, inc x3, 9sc (18)

9: 18sc (18)

10: (1sc, dec) x 6 (12)

11: dec x 6 (6) – f/o leaving tail and sew the hole Repeat this for each leg. Then add the staffing to the body as required, sew the middle hole.

Tip: make all four legs first in main colour, then change yarn and stuff after. That way is easier to make second leg.

Ears, make 2

Starting with black colour

7: 20 sc (20) – f/o leaving long tail to sew, do not stuff, sew into the head

Belly

With white colour

Make chain 12. This part is made in rows, after finishing each row turn and make ch 1 Starting from second chain from the hook.

Muzzle

5: 16sc (16) – f/o leaving long tail. Fit nose in second round and embroider the line below nose with black thread.

Stuff and sew into the head placing muzzle between white part of the belly and head.
