Amigurumi Dog Pattern

Amigurumi Dog Pattern – My Dog measure around 26 cm. I have used 1.5 ball of main colour and 0.5 ball of additional colour, chenille yarn 95g/100m and 4.5mm hook.

You will need:

  • Yarn in desired colour I have used chenille yarn 100m/100g (Aldi brand) and used 1,5 no of ball of main colour and half of additional colour
  • Crochet hook 4,5mm.

Needle

  • Polyester fibrefill stuffing Plastic eyes 14mm
  • My dog is 26cm hight.

Observation:

Notes:

Do not join at the end of each round; rounds are worked in continuous spirals or otherwise stated.

Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. Move the marker up each time you start a new round.

Starting with black yarn

1: make chain with 6st , starting from second st from hook, 4sc, 3sc in 1 st, on the other side of the chain, 3sc, inc (12)

Start to staff the body, then add the filling as required.

19: 5sc, dec x 3, 5sc, dec x 2 (15) – f/o leaving long tail to sew the hole later on. We create the holes in the bottom of the body for legs.

Legs

1: attach yarn and make 15sc in the hole (15)

2 – 6: 15sc – fill the leg as required, stop the last row in the middle of the leg, fold them in half to indicate the

middle, like on the photograph, put the marker in this place

7: 9sc, inc x 5, 1sc (20) – inc should be on the front of the leg

8: (2sc, dec) x 5 (15)

9: (1sc, dec) x 5 (10)

10: dec x 5 (5) f/o leaving tail and sew the hole

Tip: For easer working out of the legs, stuff and f/o each leg after you finish all four. I have change colour of the one leg in round 4.

Now add the staffing to the body as required and sew the middle hole.

Ears, make 2

I have done one of each colour

1: 4sc in MR (4) – leave long tail of yarn on the beginning so you can use it to sew the ear to the head.
