Crochet Pattern Pompom Baby Shoes Free Tutorial

These adorable baby crochet shoes are the perfect addition to your little one’s wardrobe. Handmade with love and care, these soft and cozy shoes will keep your baby’s feet warm and stylish. 

Materials/Tools

  • 3.5 mm hook (new born size) or 4 mm hook (size 0-6 month) The booties pictured were made using DK acrylic
  • Pompoms x2 or a pompom maker to create your own Darning needle
  • Scissors

Important Pattern Info

Always begin your rounds in the same stitch as your chain

Rounds 2-5 end your round in the same stitch as your chain. This will result in you adding an extra stitch to each round

Pattern written using USA crochet terms.

The pattern starts with the sole first working upwards.

Sizing (measured heel to toe of bootie)

  • New born => 3.5 inches
  • 0-6 Months => 4 inches

R1  => CH10, SC in 2nd chain from hook, SC in next 7 chains, 5 SC in the last chain.

Turning your work you are now going to crochet along the opposite side of the foundation chain.

Using pompom makers or your preferred method make 2 small pompoms. The pompoms pictured are approximately 4cm in diameter or 1.5 inches. Sew the pompoms to the front of your shoe.
