The Kauai Top is a vibrant rainbow-toned crochet crop top with puffy bell sleeves and adjustable straps.

Size Directions

Top Front
Round 1: Ch (96, 102, 108, 114, 120, 126)
1 ch. Turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in
each ch across. (96, 102, 108, 114, 120,
126)
Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn,
sc in the same space. Sc in each st across.

Rounds (3-38, 3-40, 3-42, 3-44, 3-46, 3-48):
Repeat round 2. F/o and weave in ends.
Sleeves (make 2)
Round 1: Sl st into the corner of the last
round of the top front. Ch (38, 42, 46, 50, 54,
58). Still on the last round of the top front,
count 26 st away from where your chain is,
and sl st into this st. Sc in the same space,
then sc in each st across until you arrive at
your chain, then sc in each ch around. Note: This
strap should fit comfortably over your shoulder, if
it is too tight or too loose, go up or down a size
accordingly until you are happy with the fit. (64,
68, 72, 76, 80, 84)
Round 2: Working in one continuous round, **sc
in the next three st, sc-inc in the next st. Repeat
from ** around, until you arrive back at your first
st. (80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105)
Round 3: Working in one continuous round, sc
in each st around. (80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105)
Rounds 4-88: Repeat round 3. Note: for longer
sleeves, continue to repeat round 3 until you
have your ideal length.
Round 89: Still working in a continuous round,
sc3tog around until you have a total of (26, 30,
34, 38, 42, 46) st.
Round 90: Sc2tog around until you have a
total of (20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 42) st. Note: this
should fit snugly around your wrist, if it is too
tight or too loose, add or remove sc2tog
accordingly until you are happy with the fit.
Back Strap
Ch (350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600). F/o and weave in ends. Weave this long ch in and out of the sides of the top front’s rounds, like you were lacing a shoelace (see photo on
the right). When wearing, pull these straps tightly and tie with a bow to secure.



F/o and weave in ends. Repeat the entire process on the opposite site of the top for the other sleeve.
