Leg Pieces (make 2)

Round 1: Ch (93, 98, 103, 108, 113, 118) +
1 ch. Turn, dc in 2nd ch from hook and in
each ch across. When finished, sl st into
your first dc-st to close the round. (93, 98,
103, 108, 113, 118)

**This should fit comfortably around the
largest part of your thigh, if needed go up or
down a size to get the right fit

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc in
each st around. Sl st into your first dc-st to
close the round. (93, 98, 103, 108, 113, 118)
Rounds 3-(9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14): Repeat
round 2. F/o and weave in ends.

**If you would like your shorts shorter or
longer, you can add or remove repetitions of
round 2 to get your desired length

Shorts Base

Round 1: With both leg pieces now created, line up
both of their last rounds so they are touching. Sl st
through both rounds to join the two together. Then,
sc in the next (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) st through
BOTH rounds to join the shorts together.

Then, turn your work so you are facing the last
round of the now-connected leg pieces. Ch 1 (does
not count as st). Make 1 dc-st into the connection
point (where the two leg pieces are joined together),
then dc in each st around. When you arrive at the
other connection point, make one dc into this space,
then dc around until you arrive back at your first dcst. Sl st into this st to close the round. (166, 174,
182, 190, 198, 206)

Round 2: Ch 1 (does not count as st), dc in each st
around. Sl st into your first dc-st to close the round.

Rounds 3-(17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22): Repeat round 2. F/o and weave in ends when finished.

Waist Tie

Round 1: Ch (200, 230, 260, 290, 320,
350). Ch 1 (does not count as st), turn, sl st
in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.

F/o and weave in ends.

Start at the center of the back of your shorts,
and weave your long waist tie in and out of
the stitches from your last round of the
shorts base. Try to space it out by ~4 st
each time you weave. When you arrive at
the center of the front of the shorts, pull
tightly and tie with a bow to secure the
shorts.
